[edit] Finger Tip Catch
Fairly difficult to maintain while juggling, this catch is adopted from Contact Juggling moves.
The hold is, like others, simple to understand, hard to execute well. Simply bunch the thumb, pointer and middle fingers together, like a tiny pedastal. Imagine holding a crystal ball this way, as if contemplating it.
From a cascade, these catches take some work to look very interesting, but they do work easily as stalls, especially from a particularly difficult throw. Simply bunch the fingers together just as the incoming ball drops towards the hand and freeze. Many tricks can be done with the Finger Tip catch--as always, experiment!
