Eat The Apple
From JuggleWiki
Do not try to learn with an apple or ball: use soft beanbag only, please.
The common way to actually Eat the Apple, aka ETA, is with a "fake" move:
You start doing Cascade, talking to set it up, and shift to 2-up-1-up Fountain with the single ball an apple.
Any time you want, carry the apple up and take a bite.
You can resume tossing it, or hold it while doing more 2-in-1's with the other hand.
Tossing the wet remains, dribbling bits of apple, mumbling with mouth full, even dropping the apple will be funny
...as long as you keep the 2-in-1 or any other pattern going well.
The whole effect relies on an audience seeing that you keep on juggling -- amazing!
You could toss '423' also:
But an audience will prefer comedy to juggling anyway.
You could toss a lazy '522' one-up Cascade instead:
Juggle a normal Cascade, and toss in one '522' to take a bite:
The high tosses would distract from the bite, unless it is part of the pattern as here.
It doesn't have to be an apple, or any actual balls, and you can bite the wrong one, too -- oh, such humor.
Any way you can fit in a delay can be used for Eat the Apple.
Four balls are not usually used for ETA, but here is '642':
