Cascade
From JuggleWiki
Cascade is a type of toss, and a pattern using only that toss.
[edit] Cascade Toss
The toss is from one hand on its side, up and to the other hand on its side:
It is the default toss for site-swap odd numbers (starting with '3') meaning the other hand catches.
As the toss starts more from a point past the body center, it becomes a Cross toss
for an Under-arm or even Cross-arm toss as in Mills Mess.
From a point outside the shoulder, a toss becomes an Over or Outside toss, as for Tennis, Rainbow, often for Shower, or 53.
Site-swap shows a Cascade toss in Synchronous patterns as an even number with an 'x', as in 5-ball (6x,4)(4,6x).
[edit] Cascade Pattern
Any number of props can be tossed in a Cascade pattern.
Cascade is the standard way to learn odd numbers of props,
and is the pattern assumed by showing a single odd digit such as '5' for 5 Ball Cascade:
Even numbers tossed as Cascade have a pause, called a "gap" in 5 Balls With A Gap for '55550' with four balls:

Cascade is continued as a basic pattern in Bounce juggling:
Passing assumes Cascade for "self" tosses taking up beats between passing throws:
