Note that the highest throw is caught to make the lowest toss, and that follows in order.
The '1' makes the '9' as is familiar from Shower;
The '3' makes the '7' as is familiar from Half-shower;
The '5' makes Cascade tosses.
Which doesn't make it easy, but is accessible to a rapidly growing number of jugglers.
The remaining challenge is to run it, and more people are doing that too.

Although equally logical, some have said this version is much harder to learn.
That may be from the rather scrambled heights per ball.
The '1' is reversed as a '3', that ball is sent up as the '9', and that is put back up as the '7'.
