A simple, but rather advanced, exercise:
The two passes are for timing: if the tosses are not high enough, there won't be time.
The pattern is not changing hands, so you would practice on the other side.
And as usual with a '4' there are the other directions to try -- or, move on.
If we add a '3', it gets a lot better:

A nice mix of tosses, and a nice general form too.
With each ball taking a separate path, one taking all the odd-values and one on each side,
it is hard to resist an obvious variation:
Perhaps this is "Reinforced Box".
