If you have not done 3-ball 52512, you might start there.

[edit] Basic Pattern
The speed and accuracy make it good preparation for 5 Ball Cascade.
If you see the code as '552', you see two alternating tosses, then a pause:
If you see the code as '525', you see that each hand does two fast '5' tosses:
To start the way the pattern will be tossed,
toss one from each hand, then the second hand again:
The timing is very difficult, the two going up must not be together, just close to it.
Continuing will require making a toss after waiting and also doing the fast catch-toss.
But, that is the pattern.
If you have too much trouble, start with three in one hand and toss two:
You will have to learn starting from three in one hand to start five anyway.
The harder part is for the other hand learning to do that fast catch-toss move.
With either start, expect to take a long time with just getting the start working, then add single tosses, as usual.
The goal is two fast '5's, perfect every time.
You can also go from 4-Fountain directly into '552':
This way, however, means reversing the direction of tossing, and that may be too hard to do in the beginning.
You can add a '4':

You can add another '4':
[edit] 55244 Rising Fountain
[edit] 55244 High-Low Chase
This very attractive trick is a hybrid of Mills Mess using two Under-arm and an Outside throw,
with a Rubensteins-style Orbit on the '2',
and doing that with both odd- and even-value tosses.
You can work out the usual variations:
[edit] 552 Reverse Cascade
[edit] 552 Mills Mill
This is a combination of a Mills Mess toss sequence of Outside, Under-arm, and Cross-arm,
with Mills-like fakes for the '2's (which you would not have to do),
while all balls go in the same direction like 3-ball Windmill.
[edit] 552 Weave
Each hand does a high catch for a "weave" move around another ball,
then makes a normal catch and toss while the other hand does a Weave.
This direction of Carry on the '2' is the opposite of a Take-out.
