12345
From JuggleWiki
Here is a simple pattern from 2 Ball Siteswap '12340'
It is a cute drill for learning site-swap tosses.
With the '5' toss to make '12345' for three balls, starting order will be as:
[edit] 45123
Now it has the sequence '345', similar to 4-ball 534 with a pause,
so this might be a good training drill for that one.
The pattern would be '51234' written with the highest number first; see also 53142.
As '45123' you can see it as continuous transitions to '51' from 3-ball Cascade,
using '4' in and '2' out as shown at 3 Ball Shower.
Some have found this to be the easiest way to learn that pattern.
Any pattern with a '2' in it begs for variations with a Fake.
So you might make the '2' look like a toss, and Cross the '4':
You then get the form of a Rising Shower.
Here is a more extreme variation:
[edit] Joe's Mess
The '5' changes hands by making the catch as Under-arm.
The '4' is made as a Cross-arm toss, and so lands in the same hand to be tossed back as a '3'.
The '2' makes a pause needed to reverse the 2-ball Chase.
See 'JugglingJoe' do his invention at YouTube.
If the '5' is an Under-arm toss, like a regular U-ball, it would then more nearly be:
[edit] 12345 Mills Mess
There are the three Mills Mess tosses: Cross-arm, Outside, and Under-arm, with a reverse,
close enough to call it that as a variation.
